On December 10, the elementary students presented the play, THE SMALL ONE. In the performance Lance Carlson played a small boy trying to sell his donkey. In doing so, he takes him to the auction block (lower left), but no one will buy him. He then tries selling him door-to-door (lower right), but still nobody will buy him. Later Joseph and Mary, played by Jeff Hoppe and Val Clausen, (upper right) buy the donkey for their trip to Bethlehem. The play was directed by Mrs. Anderson and Mr. Brykit, along with the help of all the elementary teachers. ANDERSON’S GROCERY
