In the fall of 1974, 38 Freshmen entered the front doors of Wausa High. The class of- ficers elected that year included Richard T., Pres.; Gene A., Vice-Pres.; Tammi C., Sec.; and Darwin F., Treas. Cheerleaders were Joni R. and Tammi C. Home Coming at- tendants that year were Tammi C. and Meril F. The Following year Larry S. left the class leaving 37 Soph, to carry on through another year. The class officers were: Rich- ard T., Pres.; Lisa M., Vice-Pres.; Carol E.; Sec.; and Gene A., Tres. Sophomore cheerleaders as well as the remaining years were Mary P. and Joni R. Home Coming at- tendants for our Sophomore year were Joni R. And Steve H. The Juniors were 36 in number when Debbie S. left the class. Service as officers for a busy Junior year: Rich T., Pres.; Lisa M., Vice-Pres.; Linda S., Sec.; and Dan 0., Treas. Junior Home Com- ing attendants were Tammi C. and Meril F. Co-Chairmen, Tammi C. and Gene A., with the help of committees planned the Jr. Sr. Banquet. The theme of the Prom was Love Among the Stars . Returning the next year and anxious to graduate were 36 seniors. Class officers were: Rich T., Pres.; Tim D., Vice-Pres.; Shirlene W., Sec.; and Tammi C., Treas. Candidates for Home Coming were Tammi C., Lisa M., Tim D., and Meril F., Tim D. and Tammi C. were crowned 1977- 78 Home Coming King and Queen. The Seniors were guests at Prom on April 28, 1978. They said good-bye to their four years at Wausa High with Baccalaureate held on May 7 and Commncement held on May 14, 1978. CLASS WILLS I, Gene Anderson, will Scott Carlson1 camel jokes to anyone with a warped sense of hu- mor. I, Gordon Anderson, will my ability to loose hubcaps to Gary B. I, Scott Bloomquist, will my blue Chevy to Chris Albrecht's collection. I. Scott Carlson, will to Jeff Friedrich my great track abilities in hopes that he will use them better than I did. I, Sharon Carlson, will the crowded locker rooms to anyone who can hack it better than the seniors did. I, Trudy Carlson, will my absence from school to any girl whose boyfriend lives out of town. I, Tammi Clarkson, will the good reputation of Broadway St. to Mike and Rudy in hopes they keep it up. I, Tim Dawson, will my ability to get Oscar Awards in basketball to Jeff Friedrich, be- cause my teammates never learned how. I. Steve Dennis, will my ability to use good words to Mike Burns. I, Carol Eckstrom, will my band uniform to anyone who can squeeze into it. I, Deb Fink, will my car to Jeana Hamm so that she can use it whenever she wants to bang her head against it. I, Darwin Frevert, will all of my outstanding basketball talents to Doug Netz in hopes that he will use them better than I did. 22

I, Donna Wrick, will my ability to not recognize Bloomfield in the daytime to anyone who enjoys night life as much as I did. I, Catny Ekdahl, will my ability to eat dinner in the locker room.
