HIGH SCHOOL HISTORY Forty-four freshmen students enrolled for the 1964-65 school year. Their class offi- cers were chosen as follows: Neil Kirby, president: Randy Nelson, vice-president: Steven Anderson, secretary: and Marcille Lind, treasurer. Patricia Claussen, Bonnie Doten, David Ellingson, and Larry Holmquist were elected to represent the class as Student Council members. Patricia Claussen was selected as cheerleader. Miss Arent served as class sponsor. During the first semester Margaret Bruder moved and Richard Van Houton joined the class. Forty-two sophomores returned for their second year at Wausa High. They elected Arly Johnson, president; Randy Carlson, vice-president: Beverly Banks, secretary: and Marcia Nelson, treasurer. Student Council members elected were Lynda Hoppe, Deana Nelson, Mark Pfeil, and Jim Lindquist. Deana Nelson was chosen as cheerleader. Class sponsors were Mr. Hokom and Mr. McCord. The junior class began the fall term with forty-two enrolled. They elected the following officers: Orin Ellingson, president; Judy Anderson, vice-president; Janet Suhr, secretary; and Roland Johnson, treasurer. Ginger Robins and Judy Anderson were chosen as cheerleaders. Mrs. Rosen and Mr. Lundeen were sponsors for the class.
