FRESHMEN: Dennis Larson, Presi- dent; Bruce Pfiel, Vice-President; Dorothy Nelson, Treasurer; Anita Erickson, Secretary. HIGH SCHOOL HISTORY SOPHOMORES: Randel Ander- son, President; Ronald Dalton, Vice-President; Marjorie John- son, Secretary; LaVonne Ander- son, Treasurer. The 1961-62 fall school term opened with 27 freshmen enrolled in Wausa High School. Student Council members were as follows; Barbara Banks, Barbara Johnson. Darrel Kent, and Terry Wamberg. Barbara Johnson was elected cheerleader. Miss Arent served as sponsor. The sophomore class began the year with 35 enrolled. Rodney Banks, Kirsten Bengston. Loren Lindahl, and Cora Sue Hoppe were elected to the student council. Mar- jorie Johnson was selected cheerleader. Mr. Christiansen served as sponsor. Thirty juniors entered Wausa High School this year. Student council members were Snirley Claussen. Larry Carlson, Corlynn Nyman, and Stanley Jensen. Cheerleaders were Connie Olson and Kathy Gillilan. Mrs. Rosen and Mr. Lundeen served as class spon- sors.
