HIGH SCHOOL HISTORY In the fall of 1960, 35 freshmen enrolled in the Wausa High School. After the Class was organized, the following were elected to offices: President, Rodney Banks; Vice President, James Schurr; Secretary, LaVonne Anderson; Treasurer. Cora Sue Hoppe. Loren Lindahl, Randal Anderson, Janet Holmquist, and Marjorie Johnson were elected to the student council. Marjorie Johnson was selected as a cheerleader. Miss Arent served as class sponsor. Thirty-one sophomores entered the Wausa High School. The following were elected to offices: Presi- dent, Sheryl Shalander; Vice President, Stanley Jensen; Secretary, Corlynn Nyman; Treasurer, Shirley Claussen. Larry Wilbeck, James Halleen, Connie Olson, and Lois Fuelberth were elected to the student council. Connie Olson was selected as a cheerleader. Mr. Ortman served as class sponsor. The junior class was made up of 35 members. The class members elected to class offices were as follows: President, Charles Larson- Vice President, Bruce Johnson; Secretary, Joyce Malmstrom; Treas- urer, Marjorie Nelson. Karla Reed, Marjorie Schultz, Leonard Kliment, and Rodney Johnson were elected to the student council. Mrs. Rosen and Mr. Lundeen served as sponsors. Kathy Kirby and Diana Thorell were selected as cheerleaders. JUNIOR CLASS FIRST ROW - Neola Olson, Connie Lindblad, Joyce Malmstrom, Marjorie Nelson, Karla Reed, Kathleen Schoonover, Marjorie Schultz, Diana Thorell, Mrs. Rosen.
