HIGH SCHOOL HISTORY As the fall of 1959 rolled around, 32 freshmen enrolled in the Wausa High School. As the class was organized, the following were elected to offices: President, Larry Wilbeck; Vice President, Cheryl Plog; Secretary, Glenda Erickson; Treasurer, James Halleen. Sheryl Shalander, Carol Bengston, Larry Carlson, and Gary Carlson were elected to the student council. Kathy Gillilan was selected as a cheerleader. Miss Arent served as class sponsor. Thirty-seven sophomores entered the Wausa High School this year. The following were elected to class offices: President, Rodney Johnson; Vice President, Delwyn Anderson; Secretary, Lois Blohm; Treasurer, Karla Reed. Lyman Anderson, Charles Larson, Joyce Malmstrom, and Ann Bryant were elected to the student council. Kathy Kirby was selected as a cheerleader. Mr. Hansen served as class sponsor. The junior class was made up of 21 members. Members elected to class offices were as follows: President, Arthur Halleen; Vice President, Sharon Gillilan; Secretary, Judy Swanson; Treasurer. Ronald Fink. Rowlan Ander- son, David banks, Betty Kliment, and Judy Bengston were elected as student council members. Mrs. Rosen and Mr. Lundeen served as sponsors.
