HIGH SCHOOL HISTORY In the fall of 1958, 37 freshmen entered the Wausa High School. As the class was organized the following were elected to offices: President, Lyman Anderson; Vice President, VaNoy Hult; Secretary, Lois Blohm; Treasurer, Dennis Gillilan. Kathy Kirby, Diana Thorell, Rodney Johnson, and Robert Sea- gren were chosen as student council members. Kathy Kirby was selected as cheerleader. Miss Arent served as class sponsor. Twenty-one sophomores entered the Wausa High this year. The following class officers were elected: President, Rowlan Anderson; Vice President, Arthur Halleen; Secretary, Judy Bengston; Treasurer, Sharon Gillilan. Robert Greenwall, Evan Nordstrom, Judy Swanson, Betty Eifert were chosen as student council members. Judy Bengston was selected as cheerleader. Mr. Horner served as class sponsor. Thirty-four juniors entered the Wausa High this year. The following officers were elected: President, Dennis Anderson; Vice President, Gary Anderson; Secretary, Linda Ekdahl; Treasurer, David Stenberg. Shirlene Banks, Josephine Larson, Roland Anderson, and Merlin Lindahl were chosen as student council members. Karen Smith and Velda Bruder were selected as cheerleaders. Mr. Kirab and Mrs. Rosen served as class sponsors. JUNIORS FIRST ROW: Karen Bauerly, Velda Bruder, Karen Smith, Linda Ekdahl, Glenda Juracek, Josephine Lar- son, Anne Butler, Earlean Schoonover, Marjorie Olson, Geraldine Johnson, Shirlene Banks.
