Student Council members elected were: Beverly Hanson, Lois Norman, Dennis Hult and Terry Mainquist. Football season found five of the boys out for football. When basketball season rolled around, eight boys were ready for it. We had seven boys out for track. In Band, seven Sophomores were members. In second semester chorus, eight Sophomores were select- ed. Girls Phys. Ed. program attracted eight of our girls. Nellie Smith and Beverlv Hanson were chosen to be cheerleaders and seven girls joined the Pep Club. All of the girls joined Y-Teens. During tne year, the class had a hayrack ride and a good time was had by all. Four classmates dared venture in the art of declam work. Beverly Hanson and Merle Larson were selected as Sophomore candidates at Homecoming. Sophomores were, consequently, busy during the year. Wausa Hardware Furniture Ferris Produce Oscar O.
