Beaver Dam, Sheboygan Central, Oshkosh, Ripon and Columbus all were Warrior victims. Wally Hugdahl's Warriors were within two outs of the conference title before going down at the hands of Ripon in the championship play- off. The Warriors advanced to the play-off game of the regional tournament before being defeated by West Bend, last year's state champs. The team should be strong this year as there were no seniors on last year's squad. Skip Hash, first string catcher and the leading power hitter, was chosen captain of the team at the end of the season. Others on the team were Max Galler, 'lst base, Paul Eberts or Larry Kearley, 2nd base, Earl Krueger, short stop, Bob Henken, third base, John Nummerdor, TRACK 1952 The Warriors had a very good season with twenty men doing the scoring for Waupun.
