One of the first proiects they undertook this year was to give the De Arbiders Party a view of what life would be like in Holland City. This was a great event, for the Geleerds well remembered the year they were De Arbiders. The Geleerd Group is using its many talents in various ways. They are pepping up the old Holland spirit in the Dutch City once again by supplying us with a good number of cheer- leaders to back our already blazing teams. Besides these athletic-minded Geleerds, we have a large number of Geleerds who have Third Row- R. Harness, R. Johnston, N. Lang, E. Holbach Landsinger. Second Row-H. Greenfield, J, Kemink, D. Some of the other organizations that the Geleerds have shown great interest in are mixed chorus, girl's glee club, symphonette, and band. These organiza- tions, helped by these people, have put on very excellent concerts. We are glad that the Geleerd Group have developed such active interests in these organi- zations. We are sure that as they finish the steps to true Hollanderhood and start to live in Holland City, they will find ioy as well as usefulness in these developed talents. , R. Konings, J, Kalous, D.
