The high school band consists of fifty-six out-going members under the leadership of Mr. Thompson and the direction of their majorette Jennifer Haar-berg. Two baton twirlers help add pizzaz to the marching band. They are Jana Barnard and Emma Broadbent. Mr. Thompson teaches all K-12 band and choir. Jolene: Don't look now. Roxey. but Angi's fly is open! Mr. Allberry Jennifer: Am I bad or what? The Mad Hunter Lori: Oh brother! Mr. Allberry » All work and no play is enough according to Mr. Allberry. This is his first year of teaching high school chemistry. His thirty students do labs and consistently take tests. He also teaches the ninth grade physical science and the fifth, sixth, and seventh grade P.E. He courageously instructs the drivers ed class too. Hard Bodies Patsy McKinney and Tom Allberry led the Wauneta troops in the daily ritual of P.E. The classes ranged from Kindergarten to the Sophomore class. The activities ranged from ping-pong to slaughter ball. Anyone who passed the gym could hear cheers, jeers, and shouts of fun. Mrs. Hanna shows the sophomores how to play ping-pong.
