The banquet was held in Imperial at Jack’s Place where a ham dinner was served by the prom servers, who were Matt G., Nick S., Farron S., Kelly Y., Jennifer M., Kathryn M., Jill L., and Sherry R. After the banquet a dance was held in the small gym which was decorated with blue and silver streamers and an arch. The band “Burgundy” from Colorado provided the music. Prophesy of the Class of ’82 I am the keeper of the Senior class of 1982. Having looked into the future I can see many things going on, both expected and not so. I see Craig Fanning as President and Steve Kerchal Vice-President of the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders and Brian O’Neil as a loyal supporter to this cause. Ah, there is Tracy Haarberg, a good friend of Bobby Brown, as a radio promo. And there is Nate Nordhausen, the traffic cop, directing Laurie Cribelli, wife and mother of 18 kids, through the intersection. Well, there’s Jackie Terry, the hairdresser of Rick Spring-field, doing Nancy Weimer’s hairdo; she finally married and now has 16 kids. Both Laurie and Nancy now go to Mary Maddux, the assistant of Richard Simmons, to get rid of some of their excess weight. Connie Lewis, who is in jail for embezzling from the Waun-eta Falls Bank, is talking to none other than Richard Litle, an Army general, who was finally sent to an institution. Why there is Curtis, who hangs out in night clubs and is a daytime bum in Chicago. All he can say is “I liked it so much the first time I had to come back.” Here I see Lorrie Hartzer, bus driver for Elizabeth Christner’s Punk Rock Band. As Matt Leonard, the astronaut who’s always spacy, passes around in an orbit, he can see our exchange students, Antonio Paucual picking pineapples and Giulio Ricciarelli washing sidewalks outside Woolworths in Munich. Dave Klima, an errand boy for the New York Times, is taking a memo to Xerox where Tena and Dena Lucas work as head of advertising. Now I see Joel Travis still trying to graduate, but he has transferred to Enders to play for former teammate and now coach at Enders High, Mike Nichols. Looking at the last of the class I see Senator Tracy Cox, a ■ good friend to the center of the Philadelphia Eagles, Lisa Fanning. And right back here in Wauneta is good ole Monica Stovern, the school teacher. It looks as if the class has gone on to do just what they always wanted. LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF THE CLASS OF ‘82 We the seniors of 1982, being now in our best health, strength of body and mind, desiring to make disposition of our property and affairs before forgetting all we have learned in 4 years, do hearby make, publish, and declare the following to be our last will and testament. Laurie Cribelli wills Marcia Keiser her great speed in track. Matt Leonard wills his ability to disrupt Mr. Eddy’s class to Dan Resmondo. Tracy Cox wills her little pink curlers to Myles Mize with high hopes that he will put them to good use. Dena Lucas wills her patience and shyness to Sylvia Ham. Mary Maddux wills her dent-free, smooth running, clean Charger to Cathy Carfield. Lorrie Hartzer wills all the wrong notes she hit in choir to Lisa Minneman; make good use of them. Jackie Terry wills her careful driving skills to Kendi Buffington; watch out for those blue cars! Antonio Pascual wills his tan to Rhona Greeley. Giulio Ricciarelli wills his bicycle to Dianne Crapson. Nancy Weimer wills her saying “I wish it were Friday!” to Marcia Keiser. Lisa Fanning wills her brand new, undented, unscratched car to Randy Haarberg. Tena Lucas wills her driving skills to Denise Crapson. Richard Litle wills his ability not to be embarrassed and to talk to and compliment anyone to Sue Scott. S. Michael Nicols wills his Z28 to Dan Resmondo. David Klima wills his perfect CYO attendence to Kelly McCallum; keep it that way. Joel Travis wills his parties to Sylvia Ham. Tracy Haarberg wills his “Walter” poems to Kelly McCallum. Nate Nordhausen wills his golf clubs to Mike Dart. Elizabeth Christner wills her Summers to Donald Christner. Craig Fanning wills his party fun to Frank Anderson. Steve Kerchal wills his pickup to Allan Taylor. Connie Lewis wills her short-person stature to Dixie Wick-izer. Brian O’Neil wills his fuzz to Steve Colby. Monica Stovern wills her perfect attendance to Brenda Lor-ance. Curtis Christner wills his ability to type on the computer to Sam Widger.
