PROPHECY OF 63 Come on, girls, we have to get this stuff ready. Our guests will be arriving any time now for the reunion of the Class of 63. Speaking of guests, here come the first ones now. Say, isn't that Ann Hoff and Ron Prior? I hear he's a big electronics engineer now and Ann keeps up with teaching and running a home too. I'd better go show them where to sit. Who's that right behind them in a uniform? Why, it looks like Bev Hunt. I didn't know she was in the WACS. Oh, yes, I guess she's got a pretty important job-waking up the whole camp with her famous bugle call. I wonder who that could be with a police escort and all. Well, it's Sheila Greeley, first woman president. It was always rumored that she could talk her way into anything. And there's her Right Hand Jane Crapson. I guess Sheila doesn't make any decision without consenting Jane first. There's her chauffeur right behind her. .Oh, no, it couldn't be. But it is! Susan Hollinger. She always did have a knack for driving Somebody answer that photo-phone will you? Hello. .Yes. .What? You say you won't be able to come? Well, I'm awfully sorry.. .yes, we'll save you a piece of cake. Bye.. . .That was Carman Jones. You know she's a famous lawyer now and has a big case she's working on. Stock vs Smith. You remember Kenny Smith don't you? Well, he’s a big rancher now and it seems that some of his horses keep getting onto the lawn of the orphanage where Jo Ann Stock is teaching now. Here comes Jerry Sutherland. I hear he owns his own golf course and has turned professional. Well, there's Evelyn Becker. I am surprised she got here. She has a whole string of hotels on the moon, and to think it all started from some idea of hers' in high school. I guess she was going to turn some old house into a hotel or something along that line. Who's that with her? Oh! That’s Don O'Neil. He's the chief guy in charge of Evelyn's Hotel Parking Lot. I guess he's only had 13 wrecks this past year. Pretty good, huh? What's that terrific noise? Oh, that's just Bob Jone.s coming for a landing in his supersonic spaceship. He's got a pretty big motor in it, plus a set of Turn Straights. Well, our Chief of Police, Bob McBride, will take care of him. He's one guy that is really on his toes when it comes to enforcing the law. Here come the cars from Hollywood. Dot Smith is in the first one. As far as I'm concerned, she's the best recording star since Connie Francis. Evidently her agent, Nita Fortkamp, thinks so too, or else she wouldn't have put up all her life pavings to get Dot into the business. There's Pat Weber in the second car. I hear she's practically a second Liz Taylor. She's got her agent, Keith Buff, with her too. He always did like to be around girls and I guess he thought that was one sure way. Here come the last two guests. The first one is Denny Gockley, the big-time all-star football player. He retired about 3 years ago on the money he made playing pro-football. Kent Haarberg is right behind him. He's pretty busy guy now, with his 10,000 acre farm on Mars. Well, I guess everyone is accounted for, so let's get this party rolling! 15
