Bill Denker, R. Gloy, Edwin Kanost, Vernon Hunt, Rodney Hamilton, Virgil Wilson, Lloyd Ough, Roy Hamilton. Edith Trembly, Wauneta Hollenbeck, Ruth Louch, Eula Grose. Adolf Engel, Max Baldenado Five school-owned busses and three private ones serve the Wauneta Rural High School and the Wauneta Grade School. The busses travel approximately 42,840 miles a year and give the pupils safe and sure transportation. Since 1955. the students of the Wauneta schools have enjoyed the benefits of a Hot Lunch Program and an average of 257 pupils are served daily. Mrs. Louch. head cook, and Mrs. Trembly started work at the beginning of the program. Some staples, such as beans, milk, cheese, butter, flour, and beans are furnished by the government, but no meat has been furnished this year in contrast to several hundred pounds which were furnished in 1955 and 1956.
