Mr. C. J. SUTHERLAND, Supt. Wauneta High School is proud to have Mr. Sutherland as its Superintendent. Mr. Sutherland, who calls Wauneta his home town for he has been here seven years, received his A J. at Kearney State Teachers College and his MA. at CSTC in Greeley, Colorado. This year the teachers of District V in Nebraska chose him to be their president and represent them in the National Teachers Convention in Philadelphia the first week in July, 1957.  We, the students of the Wauneta Rural High School, dedicates this 1956-57 annual to Miss Freda Ihrig, our English Instructor in appreciation of her understanding and readiness to help anyone at any time. Miss Ihrig has been an instructor in the Wauneta Schools for eleven years and all of us owe a great part of any success that we may have to her for her guidance. Although, it sometimes seems, Miss Ihrig has not received the praise and credit due her, she has always remained uncomplaining and unselfish. She has been a true friend, counselor and teacher to all of us. Miss Ihrig, we thank you!
