W. H. S. Mac Michael Contractors of North Platte, Nebraska, started the con- struction of the new addition to the old Wauneta school building in April of 1953. The buildingwill be finished in the spring or early summer of 1954, and will be used for classes in the fall. To the east of the old building are two class rooms, the superintend- ents office, a school board meeting room, andalounge for the teachers. To the north is the auditorium. Girls, boys, and visitingteams lock- ers and showers are to the north side. There are two small rooms that may be used for class rooms or storage which ever is foundnecessary. New agriculture and home making departments are at the west end of the SYIT1- Upon interviewing Mr. Querry, we found he didn't have a thing to comment about on his days work.
