Plans were made early in the year tor the pub- lication ot the volume and the start received encouragement from the Third Class Honor Rating received by the l948 BRONCHO. HOCFPFUNTS and BRONCHO start members had the opportunity ot attending the convention ot the Nebraska High School Press Association at Lincoln in November. ln the contest divisions, Yvonne Hopkins received a second place award in headline writing.
