CLASS OF 1949 CHARLENE NORDHAUSEN was elected the position of class president during her sophomore year and student council sec- retary during her senior year. Her other activities were dra- matics, glee club, and chorus. ARCHIE REDFIELD entered Wauneta High School at the beginning of his senior year. During that year his activi- ties included the vice presidency of the class, basketball, and F.F.A. RICHARD SANDMAN was on the football squad four years, the basketball team three year, and was out for track two years. He was also in F.F.A. and chorus. VERLE STINETTE was a member of F.F.A. for four years. He was out for basketball during his sophomore and senior years and football during his senior year. MARIORIE THOMAS was managing editor of HOOFPRINTS and art editor of the BRONCHO during her senior year. She participated in pep club during her sophomore and junior years, F.H.A. during her junior year and dramatics during her junior and senior years. Mari was also a member of band, glee club and chorus. SHARON VOORHEES has been outstanding in music circles. She participated in girls sextette, octette, mixed oc- tette, clarinette quartette, The Sunbonnet Girl , band, glee club, and chorus. Sherry , who was pep club president during her senior year, was a member of the school paper staff, a member of F.H.A., of Quill and Scroll, business manager of the BRONCHO and was in the cast of A Ready-Made Family . COLETTA WACH entered high school at Wauneta at the be- ginning of her sophomore year. Clete's activities have in- cluded glee club, chorus, pep club, F.H.A., and girls sextette. LUCILE WALGREN, Broncho Booster cheerleader during her junior and senior years, has also participated in chorus, glee club, F.H.A., sextette, and mixed octette. Lucy was class treasurer'during her senior year. She was also on the cast of A Ready-Made Family and Sunbonnet Girl . ROBERT WALGREN, who was student council president during his senior year, has been in the activities of football, basket- ball, track, F.F.A., glee club, chorus, and The Sunbonnet Girl . MARLIN WIDGER was a member of football, basketball, and track teams for four years. Wege was also in glee club and A Ready-Made Family . QJCGKD
