CLASS OF 1949 PEGGY HAYS completed her high school work in three and one-halt years and was graduated in Ianuary. She. was an active member of Broncho Boosters. She sang in glee club and chorus. She participated in E.lsl.A and in dramatics. As a senior she was production manager of HOOFPRINTS and a member of Quill and Scroll. YVQNNE HOPKINS' ability in music has been demons strated by her participation in glee club, chorus, band, clarinet quartette, girls octette, and mixed octette. Hop- py's other activities included Broncho Boosters, The Sun- bonnet Girl , F.H.A., Quill and Scroll, and reporter for HOOFPRINTS. ROBERT IOHNSON was elected class president during both his junior and senior years. He was out for football four seasons, basketball two, and track three, Bob sang in glee club and chorus for three years. DONALD IUSSEL was a member of the basketball squad four years and was on the football and track teams three years. Don also participated in glee club, chorus, and F.F.A. RAMONA KERCHAL was chosen as a Broncho Booster cheer- leader during her senior year. Kerch was secretary of senior class during her senior year also. Her other activities included glee club, chorus, A Ready-Made Family , dramatics, and the BRONCHO. She was also a member of E.H.A. IRIS LARGE, Irish , took part in glee club, chorus and pep club during her four years. As a iuriior she was a member of F.H.A., participated in dramatics, and was in the cast of A Ready-Made Family . IACK MADDUX, who was president of EEA. during his senior year, has also held the offices of secretary and vice president f that organization. lack has participated in football, basket- Qi, track, glee club, and chorus. MARY ELLEN MCBRIDE was a participant in glee club and chorus during her freshman and sophomore years, During her sophomore year she was also a member of pep club and the girls sextette. EDWARD MILLER was EEA. secretary during his senior year and sang in the male auartette ana mixed octette during both his junior and senior years. CLASS OF 1949 PATRICIA CHRISTNER was in the cast for A Ready Made Family , and she was winner of the humorous division of the local declamatory contest. Pat was a member of F.l'l.A., Broncho Boosters, glee club, and chorus. BETTY DICKSON, who had a perfect attendance during her sophomore and junior years, attended school in Wauneta for twelve years. Her activities were El-l.A., Broncho Boosters, glee club, and chorus. NCRMAN CAGE was chosen class president during his fresh- man year, was a member of glee club and chorus for three years, and was on the basketball squad and the football team one year each. RAMONA GARDNER participated in glee club and pep club during her first two high school years. As a junior Monte was a member of F.H.A. and during her senior year she was on the HOOEPRINT staff. DCNNA CRAVES was a member of the majorette corps during her junior and senior years. Among her other activities were glee club, chorus, Broncho Boosters, and F.H.A. CONNIE HAARBERGS school activities have included glee club, chorus, dramatics, P.H.A., and Broncho Boosters, Connie also maintained an outstanding scholastic average. LILA HAARBERC sang in girls glee club and mixed chorus during her four years in high school. She held membership in Broncho Boosters and F.H.A. one year each. MARLIES f-IAARBERG has taken a general course and has supplemented her studies with glee club, chorus, F.H.A., and Broncho Booster activities. SANDRA HACHELROAD has participated in glee club, chorus, Broncho Boosters, and band. She was in A Ready-Made Family, played in the clarinet quartette, sang in girls octette, was associate editor of the BRONCHO during her junior yearp and was BRONCHO editor, cheerleader, and a member of the Sunbonnet Girl cast during her senior year. CLASS OF 1949 CHARLENE NORDHAUSEN was elected the position of class president during her sophomore year and student council sec- retary during her senior year. Her other activities were dra- matics, glee club, and chorus. ARCHIE REDFIELD entered Wauneta High School at the beginning of his senior year. During that year his activi- ties included the vice presidency of the class, basketball, and F.F.A. RICHARD SANDMAN was on the football squad four years, the basketball team three year, and was out for track two years. He was also in F.F.A. and chorus. VERLE STINETTE was a member of F.F.A. for four years. He was out for basketball during his sophomore and senior years and football during his senior year. MARIORIE THOMAS was managing editor of HOOFPRINTS and art editor of the BRONCHO during her senior year. She participated in pep club during her sophomore and junior years, F.H.A. during her junior year and dramatics during her junior and senior years. Mari was also a member of band, glee club and chorus. SHARON VOORHEES has been outstanding in music circles. She participated in girls sextette, octette, mixed oc- tette, clarinette quartette, The Sunbonnet Girl , band, glee club, and chorus. Sherry , who was pep club president during her senior year, was a member of the school paper staff, a member of F.H.A., of Quill and Scroll, business manager of the BRONCHO and was in the cast of A Ready-Made Family . COLETTA WACH entered high school at Wauneta at the be- ginning of her sophomore year. Clete's activities have in- cluded glee club, chorus, pep club, F.H.A., and girls sextette. LUCILE WALGREN, Broncho Booster cheerleader during her junior and senior years, has also participated in chorus, glee club, F.H.A., sextette, and mixed octette. Lucy was class treasurer'during her senior year. She was also on the cast of A Ready-Made Family and Sunbonnet Girl . ROBERT WALGREN, who was student council president during his senior year, has been in the activities of football, basket- ball, track, F.F.A., glee club, chorus, and The Sunbonnet Girl .
