The Board of liducation of any school district is responsible for the management of the school buildings and grounds, for the financial matters. for the services and policies and for the personnel that make it possible to carry forward the educational program of the district. Membership on the Board of liducation is gt position of great responsibility in any school district. ln the XYaterville Ceu- tral School District the functions of the lioard of liducation are rapidly becfzminpf more dif- ficult to carry out as thc increase in the The Board is now being compelled to work out plans for temporary quarters and to carry out the educational program under ser- ious handicaps. Pupils continue to come to schoolg their education can not be delayed. The immediate needs of 1956-57-58 must be met. .Xt the same time other possible solu- tions to the building problem are being con- sidered and will be brought before the public.
