At each meeting a one-act play was presented by a different group of the members. ln November a local elimination contest was held to select a play to represent VVaterl0o at the Cambridge Play Contest. 4'The Finger of Cod was the play chosen. The cast included: Rita Noltner. Woody' Davis and lim loyce. They received a third place rating at the Cambridge contest. The officers of the Drama Club are: President. Robert O'Connor, Marianne Peschel, Susan Wallace. ...Jn ' FORENSICS Again this year Miss Roberts and her speech artists came through with flying colors. The Local Elimination held on March 4, started off the '53 Forensic Program. Thirteen A winners emerged from this contest and participated in the League meet at Cambridge the following day. Of these, seven VVaterloo students received A's which qualified them for the district meet on March 21. Rachel Skalitzky, Karlen Freitag and Barb Skalitzky earned A ratings at the district contest, thereby enabling them to take part in the State Forensic Meet at Madison on April 11.
