Drill Team Highlights This year's drill team co-captains. Debi Visotski and Lori Farace, led a skilled roup of girls throughout the football season. e squad also included: Christine Gray. Lorraine Frank, Sue Schubauer. Heather Rosander, Gunvor Tornquist. Cheri Zegarski, Jenn Geissel, Laune Mackie, risten Falzarano, Laurie Potts. Kim Kovac. and Allison Berg. One of the highlights of the squad's halftime show routine was the dance to We Don't Have to Take Our Clothes Off choreographed by the co-captains. When asked b Lenape how they felt about the squad, t e co-captains replied. Being the onlgl seniors gave us seniority over the un erclassmen, but they treated us with respect. Colorguard Shows spirit This year's colorguard consisted of girls who tried out for the squad the previous spring. The girls were led by oo-captains Louisa Turqman, Patti O'Connor, and Joanne Rosati. The remainin members were seniors Karin VonRiman, Mic elle Obitz, Michelle Cheryl Allen. As the season progressed the l'oneness of the Junior Varsity squad became obvious to the fans and players. The remainin members: Jackie LaBella, Deana Peluso, Kristine Geissel, Tracy erez, Lori Cilino, Tiffany Lu , Christine Stefandl, Jennifer Schumann, Vicki Koehne, Mandy teinert and Kristi Kilkenny all enthusiastically participated in the activities of the squad. For instance, during the summer the girls held a car wash to raise money to buy sneakers. The 14 member squad learned much from one another. Their talents and camaraderie made them one of Watchung Hills best J.V. squads, said advisor Barbara Spencer.
