According to Coach Glen Allison, It was such a successful season due to hustle, dedication. teamwork, speed, great defense, and good pitching. Surely all the things you need to make a winning team! At the end of the season there were a host of awards to be presented. Senior Debbie Bruno was awarded with the coveted MVP award, with Chris Centamore - Most Improved, Sue George - Best Offense, Leitha Miner a Best Defense, and Tina Marino - The Coaches' Award. Not only were the players a tight knit group on the field, but off it also.
