It begins with warm and sunny days filled with optimism and hope. As the season progresses, the sunshine wanes, and the warmth diminishes, the optimistic hope is qualified by the harsh realities of fierce competition, unexpected injuries, and the innate difficulty of sustained human effort. The days grow colder, the rains come and the optimistic vision becomes more realistic. It is always easier to declare the top position in anything than to reach it. For the first time in the history of our school, Warrior soccer players have been recognized on the state level. Greg Bonn and Kevin Downs received this recognition when they were given Honorable Mention 0n the state team. Bonn and Downs were also voted All-Area, along with teammates Torn Mine and Mike F etchko. Greg Bonn led the team in scoring with 15 goals. He also tied Kevin Downs in total points with 21. These two were also voted All-County.
