The Watchung Hills Nike Club is a high school girls, volunteer serv- ice organization sponsored by the Business and Professional Womenhs Club of Berkely Heights. Watchung Nike Girls can elect to entertain at community nursing homes and hospitals. They can also choose to work in cooperation with community humane societies, feeding and caring for stray animals in local shelters. Cooperative Industrial Education The C.I.E. provides the opportunity for students who wish both to attend school and to hold a part-time job. They leave school early and go to work as nursesh aides, veterinary assistants, sales girls, stock clerks, decorators, dental assistants, and metal working machine Reach Out Reach Out is a club formed of students who are interested in studying the Bible in depth and sharing its meaning with one another. 1. Ski Club With a membership of over 200 students, the Ski Club proved again to be the largest club in the high school this year. Whenever snow was available, the Ski Club would leave for Great Gorge Ski Area at 3:00 p.m., enjoy several hours of fine skiing, then return to the school at 11:15 p.m. The Ski Club also sponsored films and a ski swap. 2 President Carl Imperato and Ski Club adviser Mr. Kramer collect skis before the trip. A ski club member boards the bus for Great Gorge at 2:35 pm.
