Students in Industry Each year the Business Department of Watchung Hills gives its stu- dents a chance to experience a day,s work in the business world. A Day in Industry takes place in the fall and spring of each year. It is the business studentsi class trip, but it is more than just a trip to New York City. The student is allowed to choose the business position he wishes to occupy for the day. Here the opportunity arises for a student to use his skills acquired in school in everyday business practices. With this experience the student is able to realize the relevance of his own education, and hopefully apply this experience after graduation. l9

Parents in the Classroom? The show of parents for this yeafs Back to School night, held on October 25, was disenchantingly low. To those parents who did come, the main point of interest was the schoolls new wing and its facilities. Most were impressed with the whole annex. The changing of classes went well, except for the usual few who got lost. The teachers, as you can see from these pictures, were on their best behavior, as were all the good little mommies and dad- dies, who decided to cooperate with the evenings pro- gram. There were also other affairs which took place between classes and during studies. These included the APT sign up, the ASC Scholarship Fund, and the Bake sale of the German Club, which rivaled the plain cookies and punch offered by the ASC. All in all, the evening turned out quite well, but the students do hope for a much larger attendance next year. .L Teachers conversing with parents.
