1959 Lenape 1 LENAPE STAFF - First Row: Barbara Walton, Nancy Jensen, Nancy O'Brien, Miss Gleicher, Linda Kowalsky, Shirley Helmstetter. Second Row: Mary Ann Binns, Ethel Pelissier, Pat Maclusky, Lorraine Kelley, Marie Esposito, Judy Olsen, Sue Christie. THE 1959 LENAPE Staff has sought to bring to you an account of the past year's activities. We have tried to keep the words to a minimum, at- tempting to tell the story with pictures, which help much more than words to recall the past. As the school is growing, so grow our efforts to bring to you a more complete and comprehensive annual. Preparations for this year's publication began in the Spring of 1958 and continued throughout the i958-1959 school year. The staff has put in a great deal of time and effort to present this pictorial review of the year at Watchung Hills Regional. We want to thank Tom Christie whose car made many of our advertisements possible, Jerry Mobus whose friendship with so many in Watch- ung made others possible, Chips Mathewson for 76 his camera and patience, Marty Hedden, Claudia Van Pelt, Grace Hart and Pat Delaman who typed so many hours on the Senior biographies and of course to our salesmen, the Lenape Home Room collectors who did their iob so efficiently. Our hats also are doffed in thanks to Mr. Ryan for his advice, and Mrs. Vollmer who helped us keep our finances in the black. We would like to acknowledge our gratitude to Messieurs Irving Lloyd and Joseph De Caro for the tremendous amount of time and energy they devoted to the photography. We also wish to thank Mr. Harvey Lauche of Progress Associates, our publisher, for his assistance in organizing the book. Above all we would like to extend our great- est thanks to our advisor, Miss Anita Gleicher, for her unlimited efforts on our behalf.
