Freshmen were the dances which they gave in January and June welcoming the Freshmen. Keith Pound, chairman of these dances, did a splendid iob, Again, elected president of the G.L.C., Jim Knox is leading the Sophomores through another suc- cessful year. Clem Fiori is Vice- President, Jack Corbett, Treasurerg and Mary Burness is Secretary this year with Miss Dare acting as advisor. We started the year off with a Y party and gave a dance. It featured the Regional , the class of 6l's all-male chorus line and the music was supplied by The Connie Knight Band. Un- der chairman Byars Mathewson the dance committee carried out their plans with success. This year as Sophomores we are planning for the future. We have increased our treasury by the sale of indi- vidual photographs tothe Under- classmen. We negotiated and were able to purchase class rings during our Sophomore year. We hope that our future will be as successful as our past. Jim Knox was elected president of the Freshman G.L.C. with Bob Tokash as vice-president, Pete Cipriani as treasurer and Mary Burness as secretary. Dr. Fletcher was our advisor. He helped to start us on the path of success. At our November meeting Hilary Oulton was elected to represent the Freshmen onthe newly formed Judicial Board. The Program Com- mittee of which Clem Fiori was chairman planned a Y party for the class. Everyone that went agreed that it was a big success.
