Souon D I LQHD oi: Cnc L GREECE After only few weeks deployed on Operation Endur- ing Freedom, WASP crew members hit theirfirst pon in the island of Souda Bay. Sailors and Marines enjoyed 24 hours of Crete's westernized culture and hilly terrain. The ship's morale, welfare and recre. ation arranged six different tours to ensure a diversity of Grecian exposure. Tours ranged from a traditional Greek dinner in Cretan village, to shopping the leather district in the city of Hania.
