Cdr. l-laynes has headed the WASP Dental Department since August, 1953. TI-IIS WCDINVT I-IURT A BIT. The biggest-little division on the ship is the title assumed by D Division and Division Qtmcicer, Lt. Bassett. Three dentists and a static ot technicians malqe up the department that drills, polishes, and extracts troublesome teeth. ln carrying out its mission to treat molar mishaps the dental corps has come to rely on men trained to assist the commissioned dentists.
