Most important ot these is the conduct of Fueling at sea From Fueling station number three. ln both taking on Fuel and passing it oicli to destroyers, the Third Division rigs the Fueling boom...handles the lines...and manages the inter- ship communications. The Captainis gig and number three motor launch are the responsibility oh this division...as well as the sail locker down on the third deCl4- Ltjg. Roderique, Division Officer, insures that the division's Four three-inch mounts and their crews are ready at all times and that 29 cleaning spaces, including the quarterdeck, are alwaYS immaculate.
