The new TooTball bleachers were Tinished when The class came baclc in '39 as Sopho- mores. One could Then enioy a TooTball game wiTh relaTive comTorT, even under adverse weaTher condiTions. The Junior year was much The same as The oTher Two years buT as Juniors The class began To realize ThaT They would soon be leaving school. A gala evenT oT ThaT year Tor The Junior Class was The annual Junior-Senior Prom, when The gym was TransTormed inTo a veriTable Tairlyland, using FanTasia as iTs Theme. The ambiTion oT The class was TulTilled when on The day OT The song and yell conTesT in OcTober, l94l iT was declared The winner. Finally on a sunny May morning The Seniors slipped ouT To spend a day oT swimming, hilcing, eaTing, and games aT Linda VisTa Parlc. Then as a climax oT a year packed wiTh worlc and Tun came The Senior Play, The Senior BrealcTasT, and The Senior Ball, in all-Too- rapid succession.
