STUDENT COUNCIL Eager to do its bit was the Student Council at the outbreak ot war. Plans tor Red Cross worlc, a boys' Fire Brigade, Explorer Scout Unit, a First Aid Corps, and a Canteen Corps were made immediately. Noon Victory Dances were also organized, selling detense stamps as admission. Although the cancelling ot the Vodvil took away the largest single source ot revenue, by caretul planning most student activities were carried on, and the Council was able to buy an S800 detense bond as its contribution to our war activity.
