Do you belong to Friday Night-
ers? If not, and if you are in the
8th or 9th grade, you may join by
getting an application blank from
Mr. Voorhees. It's a lot of fun, so
let's all go, and when you get there
let's not just sit around, but get
out and dance.
The Sox dance and the Thanks-
giving dance were both great. The

New Special
Not at Rancho
By DIANE HIGLEY
If you were to go into the Rancho
and ask for a Quagga you would
probably get kicked out. Here is
what some people would do with it:
Miss Neilson: Give it to the
journalism class.
Frieda Knoll: Eat it.
Nadine Novak: Peel it.
Frank Morgan: Kill it.
Mr. Pereau: Put a bandaid on it.
Marda West: Pawn it.
Gary Bargesser: Throw it out
the window.
Iudy Von Reyna Look at it.
Mrs. Francis: Put it in a box.
Pat Tomter: Step on it.

fastest runners in the state of Vir-
ginia. She won this title in the
Girls junior final dash.
9-2, 9-3: Little Hugh Clary, the
Piper's son, has been running
through the halls with the home
room pass which Don White made.
It's an 8 by 16 red pig which Hugh
always steals during the sixth

DANCES, SPELLS
We just found out that one of
the hep cats of the school is a
brain. Rosie White is real good in
spelling and gets 100072: all the time.

The teachers look at Christmas a
little differently. Dr. Adams wants
a thousand kids who behave as
well all year as they do just before
Christmas. Mr. Pereau wants a
necktie for Christmas. fl have a
sneaking suspicion he knows he'll
get several anyway, so he has no
choice., Mr. MacColl wants what
all of us hope for, too: I would
like the war to stop for good, right
on Christinas. ' fMaybe an extra
prayer . from each of us would
help.l It would be the biggest and
best present of all.
We hope each of you will get
what you want most. '
