Sue Christopher and Jo Davis Joan Campbell and Jo Davis The Can-Can, the Hula, and other original ideas by our band delighted the crowds at the football games this year. Mr. Mansell's Christmas Play, 'The Runaway Star' was presented to the student body in the spirit of the Christmas season, leaving a spiritual effect with each person. 'Stardust,' the Thespian Play, was best remembered for the hilarious scene when the students arranged themselves on the stage as oranges, mousetraps, tadpoles, and other odd objects. Scene in the Deans' Office Ann Ducey, Beverly Clickner, Mila Weatherly. The deans office was a very busy place during the school year. Miss Evans signed thousands of excuses and Mr. White (as) signed many detention slips. A helper to all was Beverly Clickner, who kept things running smoothly and efficiently in the principal's office. Wearing socks in the hair became a fad for some of the freshman girls upon the suggestion of the upperclassmen, it seemed. Scenes 'P'umi The tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grade attendants arrived with the crown and football for the pre- game ceremony. A coronation ball for Queen Bonnie required a lot of work. Raymond Parks, Dick Pensyl, Roger Whitley, Shirley Kelley, Louise Stewart, and Jo Davis, student council members, got off to a good start decorating the gym with streamers. As to tradition, Queen Bonnie was presented a lovely floral arrangement of white mums. Souvenir programs were sold by Sr. Hi-Y. Giving the programs a onceover are Jim Cunningham, Roger Whitley, Larry Stephenson, Ronnie Camp- bell, and Jim Newbrey.
