William Serbyn All Tonians will tell you that Wednesday is a special day, for Wednesday is Scroll day! Our week- ly newspaper keeps students well informed on all phases of school life. This year the Scroll was re- duced from seven columns to live because of the high cost of printing, but in spite of its size the Scroll has continued to make Washington students well informed students. To accomplish this, the paper contained scoops on elections, contests, and coming auditorium attractions, timely editorials, sports write- ups, the 'lAround the Dialn column, which listed im- portant coming events, and many other items of in- terest to students. A recent addition to the pages of the Scroll was a column reviewing the latest musi- cal records. The members of the school share the pride of the Scroll stall which has succeeded in pro- ducing a paper that has for so many years merited the N.S.P.A. All-American Pacemaker rating and the Columbia Medalist award. Yes, all Washington is kept aggressive, authentic, alive through the Scroll. FALL Advertising Manager . . .
