Mr. Swerdfeger is presently teaching Physical Science. He is also the varsity wrestling coach, under his guid- ance the Ram Wrestling team placed second in the state tournament this year. Mr. Thomas Pagel is presently teaching Physical Science and Crafts. Mr. Pagel is a graduate of Stout State College. Mr. Ed. Sine is presently teaching Biology. Mrs. Rita Boulet teaches Chemistry and is sponsor for the Student Council. Mrs. Boulet received her B.S. from the College of St. Teresa and her M.A. from Montana State College. She has recently started a fencing club. Russell W. Broten teaches Physics and Physical science. This is his first year at W.H.S. He attended St. Olaf College and Vandercook College and graduated cum laude. His interests include 11am radio and electronics. Donald B. Sexton attended Phoenix College, Uni- versity of Arizona, Arizona State College and Ari- zona State University. He is working for his M.A. at A.S.U. He received special honors all through college including the National Honor Society and graduated with distinction. David L. Swcrdfeger is teaching Biology for his first year at W.H.S. He also is the head wrestling coach. He attended Western State College and graduated with distinction in football. Chemistry labs always seem.to bring a new challenge to the students and part of these labs usually include a Tveighang dprocedure. MR. LYNN HOWARD Mr. Howard graduated with an A.B. from the University of Oklahoma and an M.A. from the University of Michigan. He also has attended the University of Arizona, Arizona State University and the University of Arkansas. This is his seventh year at Washington teaching World History and World Geography. Mr. Howard was an 'Archaealogist for 20 years and taught at the University of Okinawa. MRS. LETA M. ERICKSON Mrs. Erickson has taught four years at Washington. She is the Assistant Librarian and a World Geography teacher. She attended Wisconsin State College, Uni- versity of Minnesota and Arizona State University. Mrs. Erickson has her B.S. and is working toward her M.A. from the Arizona State University. World at Large Becomes More Familiar to W.H.S. Mr. Fabricand has his B.A. and M.A. He was instrumental in getting the Foster Parent Plan adopted at Washington. MR. LEWIS BROWN American Government, and American History are taught by Mr. Brown. He is also one of the Senior Class sponsors. Mr. Brown attended Eastern Arizona Jr. College and University of Arizona where he received his A.A. and B.A. 28 ACADEMICS
