WE HEREBY DEDICATE lf a teacher were to be judged by his teaching outside of the classroom as well as in the classroom, one teacher would certainly be among the leaders. Besides teaching Speech and English, he has worked with the Student Council for many years as sponsor, and has directed school plays. His relationship and friendliness toward all of the students, are appreciated by everyone. Many students re- cognize him only as one of the chaperones at the dances, nevertheless, he is at least familiar to nearly every student at Washington High. He was once called 'lMr. School Spirit him- self, since he has done tremendous work toward promoting school spirit. ' 1 preciation for all he has done Hence, in ap . ' ' ' High, we proudly dedi- to better Washington L cate this annual to Mr. Verne Cook.
