UK? On November 9 and 10, Washington's Drama Club gave a light-hearted presentation of the life of a family blessed with a dozen children. Set in the l92O's, Cheaper by the Dozen was narrated by Ernestine Gilbreth Cplayed by Sue Ritschardl and her brother Frank lplayed by Dennis Sobczakl as they recalled the good times of their youth. Their father Cplayed by Gary Hustonj was a man obsessed with saving time. He was always trying out new ways to save a minute here or a second there. His disagreements with his daughter Anne iplayed by Debbie Ripscoj about the younger generation give the play a universal character, and help to make it appropriate to our time. Others in the cast were: Mrs. Gilbreth . Jackie ..... Dan . . Bill . . . Fred .... Lillian... . .. Martha ...... Mrs. Fitzgerald Dr. Burton . . . , Joe Scales . . . Miss Brill . . .
