The club's primary function is to promote school spirit and participation in school acti- vities. Any student is eligible for membership. Some projects sponsored by the Booster Club are selling programs, decorating goal posts for home football games, making post- ers, holding dances, selling buttons and mums, and organizing the Washington-Central Bas- ketball Court. Much of the money raised from these projects is used for purchasing cheering uniforms.

These boys first have to learn how to operate the many pieces of equipment. The members of this club render an invalu- able service to the teachers and students of Washington.
