School's out, and look at the expressions on the faces of our students! I think they are the happiest we've seen them all day. But why shouldn't they be? This average day just happens to be a Friday, and there's a game tonight. The bus ride home is very similar to the ride to school, but because the bus is headed in the opposite direction, the over-all tone of the conversation is on the lighter side. Linda Van Paris decided to get a little of her homework out of the way be- fore going to the game, and we see her hard at work in the picture on the left. A telephone sure comes in handy when you aren't sure about the assignment. -11- k

Mike Kalb provided extra enter- tainment at the dance as you can see in the picture on the right. After the dance, the crowd usually meets at a nearby restaurant to prolong the evening just a little longer. Ordinary procedure seldom includes a mouth full of tea bag, but tonight was an ex- ception. Chris Jackowiak does the honors for Cathy Hiles as Eileen Quinn, Cynthia King, and Jerry Po- mush look on, amused. The day of a typical Washington student ends on a happy note as the next one begins
