An Average Day An average day in the life of a typical W.H.S. student begins with breakfast. If you are on a diet or try- ing to get into a special weight class in wrestling, your breakfast may be like that pictured on the left-the fruit juice for your sunshine vitamins and the vitamin pill, to make up for the lack of food in the meal. After a good, healthy breakfast, the student prepares for school. Be- fore going out to catch the bus, our devoted student takes one last look at his English assignment, then rushes to the door. He says goodbye to his parents and the next moment we find him standing on the corner wa1t1ng for the bus The picture below was taken after a vigor- ous bus ride and there s nothing l1ke a vigorous bus ride, complete with pushing and fight-

Although the cafeteria serves many fine plate lunches, a hamburger, potato chips, and a malt can usually satisfy any student's appetite. So another nourishing meal goes by and back to class go the students. This class looks like a boys' study hall. All interest at the moment, though, doesn't seem to be centered on studying, but rather on a student who is evidently overcome by the activities of a busy school day.
