ROBERT BUDNEY Bob, whose biggest interest was base- ball, was also vice-president of the Hi-Y and of the Diversified Co- operative Education Club. He was ii ver ' active member of the Drama Club and took part in numerous pep assemblies and in Arsenic and Old Lace . ROBERT BUSZKIEWICZ As a junior, Little Eddie was elect- ed to the Student Coucil, on which he served for a year. He took time out of his free and easy life to serve as advertising manager for the Hatchet. His plans are for a college degree in Business Administration. SANDRA DIALS Proof of Sandy ' s wide interest was the various clubs in which she so fullheartedly participated. The clubs which she lent her talents to were the Library Club, Glee Club, Art Club, Y-Teens and Inter Club Coun- cils. JOHN ELLIS Ellis was a serious and quiet boy and not a joiner . He took part in Seventeenth Summer . He is think- ing about ministry as a career. JOEL GRZESKIEWICZ Joel was a member of the class cabi- net as a junior and a senior. He play- ed football for two years and baseball one. He was a member of the student Council and of the Hi-Y, and was on the production staffs of both the junior and senior plays. He plans on attending college somewhere. THOMAS GRZESKOWIAK Crisco appeared in various Glee Club activities, including Amahl and the Night Visitors and Paint Your Wagon , and was also active on the stage crew. He won letters in football and baseball, having partici- pated for four years in both sports. EUGENE HARSANYI Tall lanky Gene, whose pals were Ken Delinski and Don Ruszkowski, spent four years in the shops as a part preparation, he hopes, for avia- tional tool and die making. LINDA HINES Most of Lynne ' s time was taken by the G.A.A., although she found time for Y-Teens, Junior Achieve- ment, and Glee Club. She was a yearbook typist.

CARL ANDRYSIAK Carl, our senior class president, was outstanding in academic and personal qualities. He played football for three years, was active in Hi-Y, and was a member of the National Honor Society. As a senior he was Junior Rotarian. He plans to be an engineer and has been admitted to M.I.T. VICTOR ANTKOWIAK Vic admitted that Elvis was an- other one of his nicknames. He liked leisure but tried football for two years. He worked on the stage crew for Seventeenth Summer . RONALD BARGER Little Barg was one of our class characters ' . He was a member of the Drama Club, took part in some pep assemblies, and tried the track team. •I-Vilfi .i CU RTIS BETHEL Curtis was well kown to his friends for his sense of humor. He says his best friend was all of my friends , so obviously he was tactful, too! He was a faithful member of the Glee Club and took part in all of its musi- cal activities. BERNADETTE BLANCHARD Dixie ' s sweet smile was a familiar sight around the gym. She was active in G.A.A. and also Junior Achieve- ment. GERALD BREVEARD Gerald, whose mind seemed to run sportwise, played three years of baseball, freshman basketball, and ran cross country. ARVESTER BROOKS Despite his interest in sports, Casa- nova had time for active participa- tion in Glee Club and Drama Club. His outstanding athletic ability should lead him on to great heights in the sports field. Arvester earned letters in track, football, and basketball, and won the Kiwanis Award in the latter.

RITA JANIAK Rita, well-liked by everyone who knew her, was a member of Y-Teens in her freshman year and the Panda Club in her senior year. JAMES KAJZER Jack , as he was known to all of his friends, never did less than his best on the baseball diamond or foot- ball field. He was naturally quiet but always willing to help when help was needed. ARTHUR KROJNIEWSKI Art, who was very active in Glee Club, sang in Amahl and the Night Visitors , the spring concerts, and he took an active part in the Boy ' s Usher Club. Art ' s plan for the future is to be a machinist. CAROL KUCHARSKI As a member of the yearbook staff, Carol wrote the Class Will. She held memberships in the Latin, Panda, and Nurse ' s Clubs. She also took time to play a trumpet in the band. Her future plans are to attend a nursing school in C.iliforni ' .i. JOSEPH LAZLO Even though Joe ' s biggest interest was in music, in which he won many awards, he also had time for the junior and senior plays and to be Sports Editor and photographer for the yearbook. MARY ANN LINNER Mary Ann ' s small frame did not limit her activities. She participated in the Glee Club, Nurse ' s Club and the Panda Club. She also was a Hatchet representative and a member of the Student Council. JOSEPHINE MESZEGETO I Hear America Singing , the North Central Chorus, Amahl and the Night Visitors , Seventeenth Sum- mer and Arsenic and Old Lace demonstrated Joey ' s talents in dra- matics and Glee Club. Joey also was in Junior Achievement, G.A.A., Y-Teens, and the Panda Club. FRANK OWENS Frank was a straight A student and a member of the National Honor So- ciety. He was enrolled in Latin Club, Future Teachers ' Association, and the Drama Club.
