ROSE SLABY MARY ANN RYBICKI Mary Ann was quiet in class and in the halls, but her voice rang out in the Glee Club. She belonged to the Drama Club. She confesses to a love of swimming, dancing and re- j cord collecting, but to no plans for the future. VIRGINIA SIGETY Virgie ' s hobby was drawing, and she was secretary of the Art Club in her senior year. She was also a member of the Nurses ' Club, Panda Club, Latin Club and Drama Club. Her plans for the future are undecided but whatever they may be we know that she will be a success. Rosie is a sweet and friendly girl. As majorette for four years, she help- ed to keep the band strutting in top form. She also contributed her artis- tic talent to the yearbook as our lay- out editor. During her senior year, Rosie joined the Panda Club. Her ambition in life is to keep up-to-date her vast collection of records and become a nurse. JUNE UNDERLY Peanuts will long be remembered for her cheerfulness and thoughtful- ness. She was active as a member of the Y-Teens, F.T.A. and G.A.A. In her sophomore year she was Social Chairman of her home room. Dancing was one of her favorite pastimes. Ray was on the quiet side but always willing to help. His chief interest in school was football; he was elected to the All-State, All Conference and Twin City Teams in his senior year. Ray also received the Kiwanis Award for football in his senior year. Ray ' s future plans include attending college, but he has not made up his mind which one. JOHN WITUCKI John was the bashful one in the crowd, but he will be remembered as one of the sharpest. DAN MANIS JAMES JOHNSON Jim had varied interests during his four years in school, but his main one was music, which his member- ship in the Glee Club proves. He also was a member of the track team as a freshman and sophomore. DARLENE JONES Jonesy was the one always full of pep and enthusiasm. Her main m- terests were in roller skating, bowl- ing and dancing. Jonesy was in Glee Club for five semesters and took part in the Spring Festival. She was also a member of the Y-Teens and was on the court of the Washington- Central game. Her plans are un- known, but with her determination she is bound to get the best. BILL KONTER Bill is quiet— but at every pep-assem- bly he made himself heard from the percussion section, where he handles the cymbals. He likes to hunt and fish and is content to let his future lie in the future. One of Dan ' s biggest interests in school was music, a fact shown by his four year participation in the Glee Club and two years as a member of the Glee Club board. He lent his talents to the success of the musical presentations of Pilgrim ' s Progress and Good News , but he still found time to be a member of the track team in his junior year. CAROL MOSSMAN Blond ie may have been one of the quieter members of our class, but she was certainly heard in many Glee Club activities. Her first interest was journalism. She was feature editor of the Hatchet as junior and senior, and Hi-School page reporter for three years. Jackie was also an executive. As a senior, she was vice-president of the Y-Teens and president of F.T.A. She was also a member of the National Honor Society, class historian, and received the D.A.R. award for citizenship. She plans to attend St. Mary ' s to major in education and journalism. ANNABELLE RICHARDSON The band was great when Sweets was playing her trombone; she started in her freshman year and continued through her senior year.
