Goodman Flores, Uriss, Levin The Senior Anvil Stafi has worked hard this year to make a yearbook during these war times that is just as good as a peacetime book. Iosephine Donahue, editor-in-chief arranged the book, and supervised the staff members in their Work. The art staff, headed by Barbara East, carried out the theme of the book. The taking of photographs and snapshots was directed by Ed Kuta, photography staff head. To write the articles and identity the pictures are the tasks given to the literary staff. This depart ment was headed by Norma Goodman. Rose Ella Trimmel, manager, and Fred Flores, assistant, had the job of creating ways of raising money. It was their job also to plan and execute methods for selling subscrip tions and to take care of distributions. The advertising staff headed by Ray Waigouskls got advertisements and kept records of all transactions. This year a practically new idea was tried. The Senior Anvil was assisted by a group of juniors, The Iunior Assistants were under the direction of Rose Ella Trimmel. The pur pose of the organization was to get the juniors ready to take over the duties and responsi bilities ot planning and producing a yearbook.

Two always-to-be-remembered programs in which the Choral group sang were over radio stations W.I.O.B. on the Schools on Parade broadcast: and over W.G.ll. on the Citizens of Tomorrow broadcast which was dedicated to the mid-year graduates ot '45.
