This objective was to bring to you, the readers of the Hornet, entertainment as well as to give you an idea of the various activities of our school. We have spared no time nor energy, without any consideration of the amount of thought involved, in the writing of this year's annual. Soon we will end the activities of this year's school program for our summer vacations. To the seniors, the end of this school year holds even greater meaning. Not only are the seniors of the class of 1952 ending their school year, but they are ending their whole high school careers. This year's publication would have been impossible if it had not been for the splendid cooperation of many persons who were interested in making our efforts make the greatest exhibit possible This years Hornet is the product of the Joint work of our sponsor, editorial staff the entire senior class the faculty of our school and countless other grand people Our thanks are extended to all of them Financing the annual was our greatest problem and the many generous businessmen of our city made it seem almost non existant through their many contributions and through their buying advertisements We hope that' you will find this yt irs Hornet up to your expectations plus more than that Our intentions were to present pictorial story of our actlvl ties in an all out effort to inform everyone who had never taken or found enough time to visit our school Bobby D Ross, Editor in Chief . . , . . .
