1. Husky squaws. 2. Check out those legs! 3. Punk rock 4 3 If you saw cowboys and Indians running around school this year, they were probably members of the junior class on the first day of spirit week. Why? Well, that was the theme of the junior skit, of course! Entitled How WHS Was Won , the class of 1984 took us from a modern day classroom scene, compete with rah-rahs, jocks and nurds, back into history where we saw spirited Husky settlers and calvary beat the brightly painted indian Warriors. The crowd ' s favorite part of the Junior skit, however, was watching the numerous cattle crawling all over the hay-strewn floor! Now, if you didn ' t see Juniors dressed up as Cowboys or Indians, maybe you saw them dressed as punkers, looking gumby, all decked out in formal wear, or in toga ' s and Burger King crowns, because these outfits were all part of the Junior class ' show of spirit that week. And an incredible amount of spirit it was, pulling the class of ' 84 into the second place spot this year.

On Tuesday, the Sophomores showed us their spirit with video games as the theme for their skit. They sang and danced and entertained us in tune to such games as Asteroids, Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, and Space Invaders, which we can all relate to. Although their spirit was high, the Sopho¬ mores took only a fourth place spot in the Spirit Week competition. Well, they still have two more years to work their way to number one, and were off to a good start with some excellent dress up days this year including beach day, punk day, generic day, and gumby day. Better luck next year to the class of 1985. Keep your spirit high! 1. Pac-Man ghosts. 2. Diana. Litha. and Amy. 3. Donkey Kong danc¬ ers. 4. Diana Brum¬ baugh does her dance. 5. Kelly Stange struts up a storm. 6. Kim Lewis. Kim Hansen, and others show their stuff.
