As We think of those Who have made Washburn possible, we take pride also in the graduates and former students who are pay- ing the debt to the founders in the only Way such an obligation can be met-by effective and useful living. PIR T10 Washburn men and women find that in both the history of their school and in the accomplishments of graduates of the college is an inspiration to continue their work and successfully realize life hopes and desires. A glance across our campus will show one how Washburn college has moved forward in the seventy-live years just past, to he the school it is today. Those pioneer New Eng- landers faced many trials and tribulations in their determination to provide their children an edu- cation.
