Olher individ- uals highly importanl in lhe organizalion of our class are Miss Miller and Miss Hill. On November Isl we were assigned 'lhe lask of produc- ing an assembly program. Besides rhe lrio piclured below, a one-acl comedy was given by Viola Nichols, Norma Schneider and a 'Former iunior, Marvin Young, and a read- ing by Dona Jeane Housh. While every iunior is necessary lo the success of fhe class, cerlain members are oulsfanding in lhe life of lhe school. Jerry Figgins is Treasurer of The F.F.A. Chapler of Washburn High School. School work and F.F.A. finances keep him busy. Bob Jepson, whom you have already me+ as presidenr of our class, is also presidenl' oi lhe Topeka Youih Organizaiion, The Wagon Wheel. We're proud of you, Bob: keep up lhe good work. Billie Wesi, a sweel Junior Miss, has The honor of holding 'lhe office of presi- denl of The cify-wide Girl Reserve Organizalion. Benny Colboch was awarded a medal for being The oulslanding freelhrower of lhe Washburn High during baskelball season.
