Senior Class Officers At the beginning of the year every senior homeroom elected a representative that they felt would convey their feelings and opinions to the Senior Board. The board meets every Monday after school with Advisor Mr. Johnson to make decisions and plan activities that will effect the senior class. The awards entail leadership, dependability service character, scholarship, and athletic ability. The Washburn Service award winners were chosen by their classmates. The Miller of the Year and Athena Awards were chosen by the Washburn coaches. The Rose Reese International! Understanding Award was chosen by the social studies department. The science department selected the winner or the Bauscb and Lomb Scientific Award. The Leonard Moses Physical Fitness Award winner was chosen bv the physical education department. The business department selected the winner of the Executive Secretaries Career Development Award, the First National Bank Award winners were chosen by the senior advisors from nominations received by the entire faculty.
